Some good news coming from the IOC last night. Sports that have already had their Olympic trials and named their teams, those athletes will keep their spots as the Tokyo Olympics move to 2021.

"The 33 federations governing each sport reached an agreement with the International Olympic Committee to honor all previous qualifications when the Games finally take place"
(info via The Los Angeles Times)

This doesn't mean much for skateboarding as Olympic Trials never got off the ground due to Covid-19. But it does settle the issue that everyone was wondering about for sports like surfing.

So it looks like we will see Carissa Moore and Caroline Marks representing the USA in surfing in 2021!
