X Games to Host First-Ever Summer Athlete Draft at Cosm Los Angeles on Thursday, March 12

Los Angeles, CA (February 6, 2026) — X Games is excited to host an unprecedented live event taking place Thursday, March 12 at Cosm Los Angeles, marking the first-ever draft in X Games history and the official launch point for the new MoonPay X Games League era. The event is invite-only, with a limited release of Superfan tickets available for purchase.

Athletes, fans, and special guests will witness 40 of the world’s best skateboarders, and BMX riders drafted live to one of four inaugural X Games Clubs ahead of the MoonPay X Games League Summer Season. The evening will begin with a red-carpet arrival at 4:30 p.m. PT, where a select group of invited, draft-eligible athletes will showcase their individual style. Doors to guests open at 5:30 p.m. PT, followed by the live draft beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT. The MoonPay X Games League Summer Draft will be streamed live on the ESPN App, The Roku Sports Channel, X Games on YouTube, Kick.com, and the X Games TV Fast channel on Amazon from 6:30–8:30 p.m. PT, giving fans around the world a front-row seat to this historic moment.
The four teams and their General Managers include XC São Paulo, GM Bob Burnquist, XC Tokyo, GM Harumi Suzuki, XC Los Angeles, GM Sharalee Hazen, and XC New York, GM Steve Rodriguez. Founder athletes Nyjah Huston and Ryan Williams will be in attendance in addition to dozens of top skate and BMX athletes including teen phenoms Arisa Trew and Chloe Covell, legendary competitors Tom Schaar and Kevin Peraza, female trailblazer Hannah Roberts, and many others.
Early rounds will be presented on stage, while later rounds will be revealed via draft boards, building anticipation throughout the night. Athletes who declare for the draft but are not selected on draft night will remain eligible to compete as free agents at X Games events or be called up as injury replacements during the season.
